01 / SELECTED WORK

Big systems.
Real-world stakes.

Architecture that connects the technical detail to the bigger picture. Selected work across government and enterprise, with customer identities kept private.

01
GOVERNMENT / CLOUD STRATEGY

A path to the cloud,
built around the estate.

Designed an AWS migration strategy and target architectures for an application estate with diverse requirements and dependencies.

Inside the work
Developed a 7R decision framework to guide migration choices and supported containerisation proofs of concept. Estate figures describe the scope assessed, rather than a claim that every workload was migrated.

02
GOVERNMENT / APPLICATION MODERNISATION

From application code
to repeatable delivery.

Containerised .NET applications for Azure Kubernetes Service, with infrastructure and release pipelines defined as code.

Inside the work
Built Terraform infrastructure and Azure DevOps pipelines across development, test, pre-production and production. Integrated container registries, secrets, databases and private networking.

INSURANCE / INFRASTRUCTURE RENEWAL

A stronger foundation.
A carefully planned move.

Led solution design, migration planning and engineering oversight for a refreshed virtualisation platform.

Inside the work
Created the runbook and migration strategy for more than 200 virtual machines, planned around a migration window of less than two months.

02 / INDEPENDENT PRODUCTS

Built for people.
Made for Apple.

The same care, at a different scale. Focused products that make everyday reading, listening and learning feel more natural.

03 / EXPERIENCE & APPROACH

A systems mind.
A maker's hands.

My career has grown from networks and infrastructure to cloud architecture, data platforms and independent software. I bring that full view to the things I build.
